Each room in our house needs a little detail that makes it unique. For me, the way I like to make spaces feel chic and fun is with Wall Art and Art on a Pot. If you have a plant pot that you would like to paint to make your home look fresh and unique, I will guide you step by step to show you how it can be done.

Step 1: You need masking tape, a ruler or tape measure, a roller or a brush and tray, a pencil, paint of your preference and of course the plant pots.

Step 2: With the help of a tape measure, make your design. Mark where you would like to cover the negative with masking tape.

Step 3: After you have created your design and marked where you would like to paint, now start painting the planter with a roller or brush.

Step 4: Depending on the type of terracotta you may need to put 3-4 layers of color.

Step 5: After it dries a bit, remove the tape before it dries completely. It is best to remove the tape when the paint in the pot is still a little damp.

Step 6: With the pencil eraser you can add a few dots to give it a Santa Fe look.

Step 7: Now you have a beautiful plant pot to decorate your home.

Tips: If you want to have your pot outdoors, use outdoor wall paint. If you want to have your flower pot indoors, you can use acrylic or any interior paint.
